In today’s busy and fast-paced world things are just not like they used to be.  Fifty years ago, the adult children would look after Mom and Dad, but today they are both working and transporting Timmy and Susie to sports, dance, and martial arts, not to mention school!

I am a caring mother who wants to make a difference in people’s lives.  I have always held a special affinity for older folk, and their care and happiness.  I was really close to my Icelandic Grandma, a simple farm woman, but very much into her environment, the world, and the care of others.  I learned from her.

I realized the incredible need for assistance for our Senior Citizens to preserve their independence, mobility and quality of life, so I went on a research quest to find out all about it and to find the best way to provide such a valuable service.

As a result of my research I found Driving Miss Daisy, an award-winning Canadian franchise, and associated with the company.

My purpose is to give the best care needed for each client, in a caring and responsible manner, and at the same time assisting the family/children of each individual by providing relief that their loved one is in the best of hands! *
